Copper Gilding Workshop (1)

This is first in a two-part workshop exploring gilding techniques on sculptural forms. In the first workshop you will create your own sculptural forms / objects out of clay.
In the second workshop you will gild these objects using copper - you can also bring your own objects with you to experiment with.
Participants will need to attend both workshops. No previous experience necessary.

Sïan Rees Astley (b.1992) is an artist, born and based in North Wales. Transformation and repetition are key processes within her work; material is collated, abstracted and transformed to create something so removed from its initial state that it is unrecognisable, yet its presence undeniably asks you to look again. No previous experience necessary.
