Artist in conversation

Wanda Zyborska - My practice and the women artists who have inspired me.
9 February 2019, 2:30pm

Wanda Zyborska works in a wide variety of media, mainly in 3D and performance and often drawing on textile methods to construct work that challenges gender and identity stereotypes. She is interested in political art and public interventions.

Wanda is currently studying towards a PhD by practice to explore issues of ageing and the representation of older women, working within a theoretical context of the body and identity, situated in the politics of place and gender. She is a member of various art collectives and teaches Fine Art at Bangor University.

Talk to be followed by a discussion with Alfredo Cramerotti, Director, MOSTYN.
