Chemical Pictures Workshop
Photographer and Artist Richard Cynan Jones will be at MOSTYN exploring the pre-history and history of photography in a hands on workshop. Participants will get to experiment with wet plate photography, polaroid manipulation techniques, silhouetting, and several other alternative photography techniques, creating original work throughout the session.
About Richard Cynan Jones;
Richard Cynan Jones is an artist and photographer specialising in 19th century photographic processes, based in Mynydd Llandegai, North Wales. He is a well known for his wet plate photography and his work has been featured in several BBC programmes, including The One Show.
This workshop has been organised by MOSTYN's Cylch Collective, North Wales' branch of the national Circuit programme for 15-25s, led by Tate and funded by Paul Hamlyn. The programme aims to give resources such as expertise, funding, and space to under 25s in leading galleries across the UK.
