Jonathan Shanklin, who discovered the Antarctic ozone hole, will be speaking about this important scientific breakthrough and his family links to the current MOSTYN exhibition, The School of Art, Science and Technical Classes.  Jonathan's great-grandfather, Harry Thomas - featured in the exhibition - was an amateur naturalist who gave a lecture at the gallery in 1906.
