From the woods and the garden

Flowers and leaves with dyeing properties will be used to make direct imprints on fabric, capturing the essence of Llandudno in the work.  The pieces, made as part of a collective process, will be exhibited at MOSTYN (9 November 2019 – 1 March 2020) and will feature in a publication.

Artist Chiara Camoni says, ‘The process involves several steps and is largely unpredictable: it’s always a surprise. This makes the figures authentic apparitions, even for me. I used flowers and plants from my garden and the woods just outside the house. They are images of the nature that surrounds me and that changes with the seasons.’
