About EDGE
What is that strange wooden arcade machine in the tube at MOSTYN? That’s EDGE!

EDGE (Experiential Digital Gallery Engagement) is a new research project at MOSTYN which offers you, our visitors, new insights into contemporary art and artists to enhance your experience here at MOSTYN.

EDGE was designed by a new partnership between MOSTYN, Dr Mark Lochrie from the Media Innovation Studio at the University of Central Lancashire and experienced designer Dr Adrian Gradinar. The project has been funded by the Arts Council of Wales and InnovateUK. Lead by Mark, Adrian and Clare Harding, MOSTYN’s Digital Programme Manager and resident PhD researcher, the design process involved several days of consultation with MOSTYN’s team and members of our audiences as well as with design professionals, and we hope we’ve built something that you find useful, but most of all, fun!

As part of EDGE, MOSTYN are also providing a season of workshops, artist talks and training sessions to encourage more people to have fun with creative technology. This October sees the launch of the EDGE events programme, but it will be running until March 2020, so keep an eye on our website and social media for more events.
