Volunteer roles at MOSTYN
We are seeking volunteers to support our staff team in various roles at MOSTYN.
If you would be interested in volunteering at MOSTYN and can offer commitment, enthusiasm and reliability we would love to hear from you.
We are seeking volunteers to support our Engagement Team at MOSTYN. It's a great opportunity to gain valuable insight into the working of a large contemporary arts organisation.
You would
- gain unique behind the scenes experience of working in a gallery
- develop knowledge of contemporary art, and skills in mediating artworks
- play a valuable role in supporting Wales’ foremost visual arts centre
We are looking for people who are passionate about contemporary art and are confident in discussing works on show with visitors to the gallery. The role would be to support MOSTYN staff in gallery invigilation and interaction with visitors, providing information about MOSTYN and its public programme.
There may occasionally be opportunities to support engagement activities or to work alongside our marketing team. A regular weekly or fortnightly commitment of at least one four-hour shift (12-4pm) would be required. We are open every day except Monday.
