'On Collaboration'
14 November - 8 May 2016

‘&’ (pronounced ‘and’) is an exhibition exploring collaboration as a subject and concept for the projects on view and the exhibition overall. It has been brought together by GLITCH, MOSTYN’s collective of under-25 year olds which is a part of Circuit, led by Tate and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

‘&’ includes projects by the group that explore a variety of their personal interests through collaboration with an outside agent and is a follow-up to the group's first show (Gallery1) which took place from November 2014 until March 2015. Collaborators include, amongst others, artists, graphic designers, tailors, historical archives, MOSTYN’s curator and team, and merge together both art and curatorial practice.

‘&’ also presents existing and previous collaborations that have occurred amongst the disciplines of art, design and fashion. The projects by GLITCH group members are thereby placed in a wider context offering the viewer a framework in relation to various aspects of culture, as well as the world at large.
