D.Alun Evans

Originally from Pembrokeshire and resident in North Cheshire overlooking the Mersey estuary. The built-up landscape of Wales and the Northwest of England is the focus of Alun’s creative work which include collagraphs, monotypes, screen prints, linocuts as well as drawing and painting in a range of media.

Produced over the last ten years at the Regional Print Centre, the prints include many developed from visits back to his family home in Fishguard. With the most recent work focusing on Merseyside’s significant ‘City Shore’. Alun is keen to exploit the potential of the screen process to generate variants on colour and layering from the same set of screens to produce a suite of limited variations.
