MOSTYN shortlisted for Freelands Art Award
Winner to be announced in the autumn
The Freelands Award of £100,000 aims to raise the profile of mid-career female artists and support the work of visual arts organisations outside London. It was launched in March 2016 by the Freelands Foundation, founded by Elisabeth Murdoch in 2015.
Other galleries shortlisted include Dundee Contemporary Arts (Dundee), Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art (Middlesbrough), Nottingham Contemporary (Nottingham), The Hepworth Wakefield (Wakefield) and Turner Contemporary (Margate).
