Staffordshire based Jennifer creates worlds where every exquisite detail is made, folded and manipulated from paper. Once books, maps, envelopes, wallpaper or scrap; the paper is transformed into textural forms. Like cloth it is stitched to construct decorative three-dimensional objects. The origin of the paper provides a starting point for the artwork: the narrative of the books and papers suggesting idea and form.

The beautiful windows at MOSTYN Shop offer the perfect opportunity to showcase Jennifer’s work from all angels; the exquisite button loops on the backs of the chairs can be seen whilst browsing in the shop, and the ‘room set’ can be seen by shoppers outside. All lit by a sea of paper lampshades, offering a warm winter glow, making this a truly fantastical paper wonderland.
