MOSTYN exhibitions temporarily closed from Saturday 5 December 2020
Shop and café open as normal
Due to the forthcoming new restrictions in Wales, our current exhibitions by Nick Hornby, Richard Wathen, and Hannah Quinlan and Rosie Hastings will temporarily close at 4pm on Friday 4 December 2020. The situation will be reviewed by Welsh Government on 17 December, and we sincerely hope to be able to re-open later in the month.
Our shop and café will remain open as normal, from Tuesday to Sunday, 11am – 4pm
For our seasonal showcase in our shop this winter, we've selected some of the very best craftspeople and artists working in Wales and the Borders. From woodwork to knitwear, enamelling to glassware, original artworks, limited edition prints and a beautiful mix of hand-crafted contemporary items to suit every budget, we know you'll find something you'll love to give as a gift. If you're spoilt for choice, MOSTYN gift vouchers are the ideal solution.
We support hundreds of independent makers and small businesses in our shop and, as a registered charity, income generated is invested back into our ambitious programme of exhibitions and events.
Upstairs, our bright and spacious 'Oriel Cafe' offers a unique space to enjoy a great range of food and drinks, including fantastic locally roasted coffee. Our fresh, light menu includes soups, stews, salads, sandwiches, wraps and bagels, including plenty of vegan and gluten free options. And of course there’s always a wide range of fabulous cakes!
The café is fully accessible, with plenty of space for buggies and wheelchairs, and views to the sea from the lovely bay windows. It’s the ideal place to visit with family, meet up with friends, hold an informal meeting, come and get a bit of work done in peace or just have a well-earned break.
Please be reassured that the health of our staff and visitors continues to be our very highest priority. Before visitng please check our Coronavirus guidance - Visiting MOSTYN during Coronavirus
