New café management

We're pleased to announce the reopening of our café. The cafe will, from May 2019, be run by Welsh born Mike Jones, originally from Cardiff, and his partner Clare Henderson who have recently relocated to North Wales.

The cafe reopens with an offering of delicious cakes and hot and cold drinks, including locally roasted coffee and tea infusions. Coming soon, in June, the menu will include salads, soups and light lunches with a full menu to be introduced in July.

The couple will also be offering a catering service to run alongside the gallery's venue hire facility. Mike, whose long career in the food industry has included running a number of restaurants in London, has worked in the business since the age of 18. Clare will be renewing family ties with the gallery; her great uncle was the original architect of the gallery building back in 1901.
