Temporary closure due to Welsh and UK government announcements

A message from MOSTYN Director, Alfredo Cramerotti

2020 was always going to be a defining year for MOSTYN. Ten years on from a major refurbishment and expansion, we’ve not been able to celebrate this anniversary in the way we would have hoped. Whatever challenges this year has presented, I’m proud of the way in which our team has responded – creating a safe and welcoming space during opening times, and exploring exciting artistic formats digitally during the periods of closure and beyond.

We’re looking forward to the next ten years with optimism and with much gratitude for the support of our funders, our partners and, of course, our visitors. Thank you!

Further to Welsh and UK government announcements today (19/12/2020), MOSTYN will be temporarily closed to the public until further notice.
We look forward to welcoming you back in 2021 and wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

Ellis Williams Architects (EWA) were commissioned with the refurbishment and expansion of MOSTYN back in 2005/06. The building reopened in May 2010 after three years of work on site.
