Artist talk: Angharad Williams
To coincide with the opening of Picture the Others, Angharad Williams will be in discussion with MOSTYN's Visual Arts Curator Juliette Desorgues.
The talk will take place at MOSTYN.
Angharad Williams is an artist living in Ynys Môn and Berlin. Recent solo exhibitions include High Horse, Kevin Space, Vienna (2021); Without the Scales, Schiefe Zähne, Berlin (2020); Witness, Haus Zur Liebe, Schaffhausen (2019); Island Mentality, Peak, London (2019); and Scarecrows, LISZT, Berlin (2018). Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions including: Jerwood Arts, London (2021), Stadtgalerie Bern (2021) and Kunstverein Munich (2020). Performances have taken place at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2020); ICA, London (2019); and Radiophrenia, Glasgow (2017).
Juliette Desorgues is a curator and writer. She is currently Curator of Visual Arts at MOSTYN. She previously worked as Associate Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London and held curatorial positions at the Barbican Art Gallery, London and Generali Foundation, Vienna. She studied Art History at the University of Edinburgh, the University of Vienna and University College London.
