Textured Silver Bangle Workshop with Karen Williams

The workshop will begin with experimenting with copper, before moving on to work in silver. Throughout the day you will explore texture through hammering, using punches and embossing with wire. Karen will then guide you through the final stages to complete your bangle, including forming, silver soldering and polishing for extra sparkle.

Each participant will create one copper bangle, and will be able to make one of the following options in silver:

* One heavy weight bangle

* One medium weight and one thin bangle

* Three thin bangles

(There is an option to purchase additional silver wire direct from Karen, at an additional charge)

All materials are provided, but please do bring along any source material, drawings or inspirations that you may wish to work from.

No prior experience is needed.
