Create your own macramé plant pot hanger with welsheggdesigns

Macramé was popular in the 70s and is now enjoying its own renaissance with a modern twist. It is a very relaxing craft once you are familiar with the knots, and this workshop aims to introduce you to the techniques.

This workshop will begin with learning some basic knots (Spiral knot, Square knot, Wrapping knot) and we will practice these by making a couple of keyrings. You will then progress to creating your own bespoke macramé plant hanger and Sian from welsheggdesigns will guide you through each stage of the process and final stages.

Each participant will create 2 keyrings, and 1 macramé plant hanger.

All materials are provided, but please bring your own plant pot so that you can create your own made-to-measure hanger.

There will also be the opportunity to purchase additional macramé cord from Sian, at an additional charge.

No prior experience is needed.
